Tim Madison has extensive wealth management and financial planning experience, which spans 27 years as a Certified Financial Planner. He also gained valuable planning experience in a 30-year corporate career while on domestic and international assignments working for the General Electric and The Coca-Cola Companies. Prior to joining Ridge Capital Management and First Allied Securities, Tim successfully held financial advisory positions at Lincoln Financial Advisors, GE Financial Assurance, the U. S. Planning Group, Carnegie Wealth Strategies, Ltd., World Financial Group, and Money Concepts. Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Math from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree from American University in Management Information Systems. Tim joined Ridge Capital Management, LLC, as a Senior Financial Advisor in 2018.
Tim takes great pride in staying current in the wealth management and financial planning industry. He has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) for 27 years and holds multiple securities registrations and insurance licenses including the Series 7 and Series 66. His insurance licenses include Life, Health, Variable Life and Annuity. Tim is also a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Analyst for Senior Living (CASL), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
Tim’s main priority is to help his clients achieve financial independence through more effective use of their current dollars and assets with an emphasis on cash flow planning. He specializes in effective wealth accumulation, preservation and management for pre-retirees and retirees. As an Investment Advisor Representative, Tim develops and implements customized financial plans for his clients. His biggest reward is to ensure that as many people as possible are living their life based on a holistic financial plan and achieving their lifelong dreams.
Tim Madison has been a resident of Georgia since 1988 and currently resides in Cumming, Georgia with his wife of 38 years, Linda. He was treasurer and member of the Forsyth Senior Providers Network, a member of the Financial Planning Association, and is a member of the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Tim stays active in his church by serving on the Café team and enjoys facilitating in the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University ministry classes. He has also been blessed with the opportunity to lead several bible-study groups.
When not serving his clients and church, Tim and Linda spend time with their three grown children and eight growing grandchildren.
